It all begins with one step
So I’m doing my normal morning routine (at least while I’m off for the holiday) of showering while my wife and 7 month old kiddo are napping. My shower used to be so minimal — a true designer’s shower, as it were — and now, its full of rubber duckies, plastic bathtubs, and hand puppets that double as washcloths. That last bit is kind of awesome, actually.
Anyhow, so I’m in there, with coffee hitting me, and I thought about how to use these great tools for ‘microblogging’, like tumblr here and twitter. Then I thought, hey, I have some pretty decent ideas and thoughts about this kind of stuff, creativity, online marketing, and whathaveyou. What if i said something great every day? Or reasonably great? I could call it 365 something!
Oh wait, its Janurary 2nd. I spent my New Year’s Day with family and watching the Blackhawks get killed (again) by the Red Wings. There goes that. But then 364 popped into my head, which I actually like better. It’s flawed, but then, so are we, but flawed in a way that creates character. So I’m going with it. Plus, the URL was free so here we go.
So stay tuned every day for ramblings from me, and hopefully some sketches and stuff from a special guest star. Now off to chuck the christmas tree over the balcony. Don’t ask. :)
